What is the link between racers, fans, and businesses potentially involved with sponsorship in racing? That is the link that racers need to determine when looking to secure funds from any business. It may be an obvious user-defined link such as a racing vendor supporting a car or a home improvement center sponsoring a NASCAR team. Last Race At Hialeah Speedway – Hell, I Was There!

In some areas of the country, local short tracks are an endangered species. With urban development and sprawl spreading across once-rural areas, the large pieces of land racetracks are built on are becoming million-dollar prizes to be had by developers. After years of fighting for survival, Hialeah Speedway has become the latest victim. August 13, 2005, marked the last time race cars would run on the historic oval.

In a surprisingly quick turnaround, GM’s CEO has announced the company has officially emerged from bankruptcy.
Statistics Canada says the unemployment rate rose to 8.6 per cent last month from 8.4 per cent in May.
Two people are dead after a small plane crashed near the Vancouver Internationalm Airport in Richmond, B.C.

U.S. Federal investigators reported they were able to sneak bomb-making materials into 10 federal buildings.
Canada’s economy may take longer to recover than expected, as the country’s deficit is expected to hit $155.9 billion.
Ottawa has announced $5 billion in funding for the Canadian Army to overhaul its fleet of light armoured vehicles.

Legends Race Day Tips – Dialing In A Legends Car

10 Top Tracks to Watch and Race On

Throughout my racing career there have been tracks that are my favorite ones to race. Tracks like Pipestone County Speedway in Pipestone, Minnesota, or Monett Speedway in Monett, Missouri. But one question arises whenever I start to reminisce: What are the best tracks in the country?
